When avid vintage collector Katrina Langford moved to Hawaii in 2000 she noticed an abundance of beautiful silk scarves. Drawn to their lightweight fabrics, bright colors, and bold prints Katrina made it her mission to up-cycle these lovely materials to keep them out of landfills. Each scarf seemed to tell a story from a bygone era, yet inspire a new look for today. Attracted to the juxtoposition of turning trash into sustainable luxury apparel her brand was established in 2005. Katrina continues to produce her couture gowns and ready to wear collection on the North Shore of Oahu.
